N of K-pop boy band VIXX was cast for SBS’s upcoming television drama “Family Outing,” the singer’s star label Jellyfish Entertainment said Tuesday.

“N will play a policeman under his real name Cha Hak-yeon,” the star agency told reporters, adding that the singer is likely to start recording his scenes as early as November. N will play the romantic partner of Choi Dong-joo, a lively bank teller played by Sojin of girl group Girl’s Day.

The drama portrays the rocky lives of an ordinary family who undergo discord after a wealthy relative bequeath them a 10 billion won inheritance.

Family Outing will launch in December, after the conclusion of the currently aired drama “Modern Farmer,” starring Lee Hong-gi of K-pop rock band FTISLAND.
