2PM member Nichkhun’s Chinese variety show is gaining great attention from viewers in China.

Aired first on Oct. 5, “Brave Heart” is China’s first reality show to feature boxing. The participants of the show are 20 amateur boxers who challenge themselves by taking part in harsh competitions.

The program soon proved its popularity, ranking third in total audience rankings after its second broadcast.

The show consists of 20 boxers divided into four teams. Nichkhun, one of China’s most popular singer-actors, was chosen to participate as one of the managers of a team.

Other managers include Chinese actor Kang Woo, Thai actor Godfrey Tsao and actress Zhang Lang Xin.

Nichkhun is being seen as a heartwarming and affectionate manager who takes good care of his team. He also amazed viewers when he put up with the harsh boxing training with his teammates, showing his masculine side.

“Brave Heart” airs every Sunday on BTV.
