Jaejoong, a member of the K-pop boy band JYJ, revealed Wednesday that the group members do not meet up or have phone conversations.

“I just appreciate that the three of us can be together,” he said in a news conference held before the group’s concert in Tokyo on Wednesday night.

“Because we are so close, we don’t need to converse with each other on the phone or to meet up. Instead, we created a chat room on a mobile messenger app to talk. We sometimes send each other weird photos,” Jaejoong said.

The trio is currently on its “2014 JYJ Japan Dome Tour.” They wrapped up a two-day concert in Tokyo on Wednesday, drawing about 100,000 fans. The singers will perform again in Osaka on Dec. 13 and 14 and Fukuoka on Dec. 23 and 24.
