GOT7 member Jackson said Sunday that he had received a rare compliment from JYP Entertainment head Park Jin-young.

“(Park) had never praised me once so far,” Jackson said on the comeback stage of SBS’ music show “Inkigayo.”

“But recently he complimented me on one thing. He said my shoes were pretty,” the K-pop heartthrob said, making the audience burst into laughter.

Park, the 43-year-old JYP founder and singer-songwriter, composed GOT7’s “Hajihajima (Stop Stop It),” the title track of the boy band’s new album, “Identify.”

“Hajihajima” is a hip-hop song with heavy bass and an addictive beat that strongly expresses the group’s “groovy music identity,” according to JYP Entertainment.
