Big Bang’s Taeyang will hold his first world tour “2015 Taeyang World Tour Rise,” starting in Hong Kong on Jan. 10, according to YG Entertainment Thursday.

He will tour nine cities in seven countries including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore.

Taeyang became the first member of Big Bang to release a solo album in 2008. His next album “Rise” was released in June, this year, after a gap of six years. Its title track, “Eyes Nose Lips” dominated various charts of local music sites when it was released.

Taeyang also held a 3-day long concert in Korea in August and is now participating in Big Bang’s Japan Dome tour which began in the middle of this month for 15 concerts in five cities.
