Actor Kim Woo-bin will be appearing in a new episode of SBS’ Sunday variety program “Running Man” as he was spotted participating in a race in downtown Seoul on Monday.

“Kim is currently in Myeong-dong, Seoul, with actor Lee Hyun-woo and other ‘Running Man’ crew members. The concept of the race is a ‘treasure hunt,’” an SBS official said Monday. Pictures of Kim participating in the filming of the program were distributed via SNS, and instantly went viral.

Kim is reportedly on the same team as Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo. The second team includes Lee Hyun-woo and Song ji-hyo, while the third team has Gary, Haha and Ji Suk-jin.

The upcoming episode will mark Kim’s third appearance on “Running Man.” Lee also appeared on the program last March and in May 2013 with actor Kim Soo-hyun.

Kim and Lee have lead roles in the upcoming movie “Criminal Designer.” The film is about a group of tech-savvy outlaws who aim to steal 150 billion won ($140 million) from the Incheon Customs Agency within 40 minutes. Kim plays the role of Ji-hyuk, the leader of the group, while Lee plays the other main member.

The movie is to be released on Dec.24.
