It’s ‘Showtime’ for Sistar

K-pop girl group Sistar will star in the new season of idol reality TV show “Showtime,” following EXO, BEAST and Apink.

The girls will appear in the fourth series of the cable TV program.They filmed for the first episode on Wednesday, according to the group’s label, Starship Entertainment.

“Showtime” has featured top idol groups -- EXO, BEAST and Apink -- for the past three seasons, gaining popularity as a platform to get to know more about the idols.

The four members are currently pursuing individual activities.

Vocalist Soyou recently helped create the soundtrack for the animated film “The Snow Queen 2,” and Dasom is to debut as an actress in the film “Like a French Movie.” They are also starring in the TV audition program “No Mercy” as judges.
