A large number of hot K-pop idols are expected to join KBS’ year-end music festival, the state broadcaster said Friday.

Idol groups EXO, Girls’ Generation, Apink, Infinite, 2PM, CNBLUE, B1A4 and others will make special performances at the event.

KBS said the participating groups were picked based on their record of album sales and TV appearances.

Some singers will also make collaboration stages.

Hosted by comedian Lee Hwi-jae, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, the live music festival will be held on Dec. 26.
