Following the recent confirmation from the filmmaker, Go’s agency is in the process of detailing the contract, Star News reported, citing cinematic industrial sources.

“Joseon Magician” has seized attention from filmmakers and fans, as it is the 22-year-old rising star Yoo’s first on-screen appearance since the completion of his military service on Dec. 4.

Go, 25, reportedly chose “Joseon Magician” after considering other movie options, such as “Pandora.”

Starring the two celebrities and directed by Kim Dae-seung, “Joseon Magician” portrays the romantic melodrama between a princess (Go) and a clown (Yoo) from the nomadic circus. The Joseon princess encounters the charming clown on her way to China to be married into the Qing dynasty.

The period film will begin production in the first half of 2015.
