The production crew of MBC’s upcoming drama “To Shine or to Go Insane” threw a surprise birthday party for the lead cast member, Jang Hyuk, on Saturday.

Jang’s label Sidus HQ uploaded the birthday photos on its official Twitter account, offering fans a glimpse of the merry occasion.


“Jang wore a huge smile all the while, exuding a happy vibe for everyone to see,” the talent agency commented alongside the photos.

“To Shine or to Go Insane” is a period rom-com drama about a cursed prince of the Goryeo Dynasty and an abandoned princess of the Balhae Kingdom.

The Monday-Tuesday drama is slated to launch in January, following the conclusion of “Pride and Prejudice.”
