GFRIEND to debut in mid-January

Rookie K-pop girl group GFRIEND’s debut is imminent, with official photos unveiled Monday.
Its label Source Music Entertainment posted the photos and profiles of the six members on its official Facebook account, with the caption “Debut Coming Soon! Here is GFRIEND’s first group photo.”

The agency had previously revealed the photos of four members -- Sowon, Yerin, SinB and Umji, raising anticipation about the remaining two members -- Eunha and Yuju.
In the pictures, the teenage girls with an average age of 18.1 are wearing white tops and matching red shorts, boasting a sporty look.
The sextet will debut with a dance song by Lee Giyongbae, who composed Ailee’s “Heaven” and Orange Caramel’s “Catallena,” on Jan. 15.
