K-pop girl band Wonder Girls’ hit song “Nobody” has been selected as a soundtrack for a new trailer of DreamWorks’ “Penguins of Madagascar.”

In the freshly released trailer titled “Finding Missing Penguins,” the four penguins of Madagascar -- Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico -- dress up in mermaid costumes and dance to the famous South Korean tune “I want nobody but you.”

The clip is anticipated to entice more South Korean viewers to the cinema.

“I really like the ‘Madagascar’ series. I am amazed and delighted that our song became a soundtrack. I hope this will be a good opportunity for K-Pop to gain broader recognition in the world,” said Yenny of Wonder Girls.

“It’s an honor for us to represent Asian artists and have our song selected for the great animated film. I’m very thankful for the love people have shown our song ‘Nobody.’ It’s my wish our fans will continue their love on to ‘Penguins of Madagascar’ too” added Hyerim, another member of the girl band.

“We hope this will help shed light on more works by Asian artists” said Yubin.

The latest animated film by DreamWorks, “Penguins of Madagascar” has been produced by directors Eric Darnell and Simon J. Smith. The movie was released nationwide on Dec. 31.
