K-pop girl group EXID’s performance of “UP&DOWN” took first place on Sunday’s “Inkigayo (popular pop)” battle.

“(We are) very thankful to our management staff, fans and family,” said the members of EXID with a look of pleasant surprise at the unexpected win.

They showed tears as they repetitively commented thank-you.

Today’s win marks EXID’s third consecutive victory in three different music channels. EXID won first place in Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Jan. 8, after which they promptly took the top spot on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on Jan. 9.

The song that won EXID’s Sunday triumph, “UP&DOWN,” came out in August 2014, but only belatedly gained wide attention recently.
