Suho, a member of the popular K-pop band EXO, said that his role model was Super Junior member Kyuhyun on a TV show to be aired on Tuesday.

Suho’s remarks came during the recent filming of the next episode of EBS’ “School Land -- Teen Teen Interview.”

In the episode, Suho talked about his role model and the days when he strived to become a singer, according to the EBS production team.

Asked who he looked up to, the 23-year-old idol pointed to Kyuhyun.

“I want to learn from Kyuhyun, who always has trust in himself, makes efforts and sets a goal to fulfill his dream,” he said.

Regarding how Suho became a musician, he candidly said that he was not interested in becoming a singer before his current label SM Entertainment recommended that he participate in the talent audition.

“I did not want to feel regret, so I went to the audition,” he said. “If you have a dream and a goal, think specifically and take on a challenge.”

Suho also shared the delightful and sorrowful moments he had during the six-year training period under SM Entertainment.

The episode starring Suho will be broadcast at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday on EBS.
