G-Friend debuts 'Glass Bead' onstage

New K-pop group G-Friend is already enjoying a growing fan base, following its onstage debut performances last week.

The sextet released its debut EP "Season of Glass" on Thursday, followed by live performances the following three days.

True to their innocent and youthful image, the teenagers were all smiles as they sang and danced onstage in cheerleader-inspired clothes, with minimal hairstyling and makeup.

G-Friend, short for "girlfriend," aims to appeal to a young audience, targeting boys as sweet girlfriends and girls as chummy pals.

The music video for G-Friend's debut single "Glass Bead" has attracted more than 300,000 views on YouTube.
