K-pop girl group 4Minute said Monday it would stage a return in February.

The group shared a 3-D motion graphic clip titled “4Minute ? REVAMPED” on YouTube, depicting a purple orb surfacing from underwater and heralding its return to the local music scene.

As the orb levitates, the overlying music transitions from mystical to dramatic. With the escalation of suspense the orb explodes, revealing the number 4.

4Minute is reportedly preparing double title songs for their return next month.

Since their debut in 2009, the quintet has produced many hit songs including “Hot Issue,” “Mirror Mirror” and “Heart to Heart.”

The group held an exclusive European concert last year.
