Mad Clown crowned on 800th episode of ‘Inkigayo’

South Korean rapper Mad Clown came in first on “Inkigayo” on Sunday with his song “Anger,” beating EXID’s “UP&DOWN.”

Rapper Jo Dong-rim, better known as Mad Clown, said, “I thank all the people involved, including my label (Starship Entertainment).”

Released on Jan. 9, “Anger” rapidly climbed to first place on South Korean real-time charts, but was edged into second place 11 days later by Davichi’s “Cry Again.”

K-pop entertainers including CNBLUE’s Jung Yong-hwa, SHINee’s Jonghyun and Davichi also appeared on the 800th episode of “Inkigayo.”

The live music program airs every Sunday at 14:20 p.m. on SBS.
