Actor Yoo Ah-in is to star in two of the most anticipated films of the year.

In the movie “Veteran,” a crime thriller directed by Ryoo Seung-wan, he will appear as an immoral young millionaire who faces off with a detective.

He will also act as Crown Prince Sado in Sado, a period drama film directed by Lee Joon-ik.

Yoo made his acting debut in the youth series Sharp 1 in 2003. Afterward, he gained fame for his role in Sungkyunwan Scandal, a 2010 period drama.

Regarded as one of the most politically-correct actors in Korea, Yoo was thrown into the limelight when he tweeted a strong comment on the withdrawal of Ahn Cheol-soo from the presidential race.
