Actress Ha Ji-won has released her first pictorial, “Hajiwon’s Secret,” in Japan, her agency Sun & Moon Entertainment announced Thursday.

“Ever since releasing my first photo essay book ‘At This Moment’ in 2012, I have always wanted to create a pictorial as well,” Ha said in a press conference held in Tokyo on Jan. 23. “I am very happy that I was able to publish it at a timely period.”

The pictorial consists of a photo book and a DVD. Both aim to show Ha’s many sides as an actress and a person, revealing her troubles and conflicts as well as her passions and longing for freedom.

Ha reportedly participated in the pictorial’s creating from beginning to end, taking care to oversee its production every step of the way. She took part in planning, organizing, designing and editing the pictorial, her agency said.

Ha recently starred in the new film “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,” which was released on Jan. 15.
