K-pop star group SHINee will perform in a Lunar New Year TV program to be aired in China.

It is the only South Korean group to be invited by Liaoning TV to perform in “Chun Jie Wan Hui,” the most influential New Year program in China. The show has topped viewer ratings for 12 consecutive years amongst other channels broadcasting during the same hour.

Clearly, SHINee has cemented its popularity in China.

The quintet has finished recording for the show, which will air on March 17 at 8 p.m.

Ahead of the broadcasting, the young stars will host a live show “SHINee WORLD 2014 ~I’m Your Boy~Special Edition in TOKYO DOME” on March 14?15.
