The actor, who played a mysterious errand guy in the KBS drama “Healer,” which ended early this month, is set to star in the musical “The Days” in March.

“This will be my last musical before joining the Army next year. I feel sorry that I have to stop working but I will be more relaxed after I return,” he said.

Though it seems a bit late for the 27-year-old to join the Army, Ji said he was confident he could adapt to the military as he spent most of his teens in a boys’ school.

He also expressed his passion for performing in musicals during the interview.

“Being on the stage has different charms from appearing in a drama. In front of the camera, you have a chance to do it again, but you don’t on the stage. You cannot cut off the flow. This tension makes me feel happy and respected,” Ji said.
