Actress Jung Yu-mi joined the acting agency Management Soop on Thursday.

Management Soop represents stars including actors Gong Yoo, Ryoo Seung-bum and actresses Gong Hyo-jin and Jeon Do-yeon, as well as Jung.

Management Soop was spun off from entertainment agency Fantasio, which was formerly home to both Gongs, Jeon and Jung.

“Jung has experienced different genres since her debut,” Kim Jang-kyun, chief executive officer of Management Soop said. “My agency will give her full support for her activities.”

The upcoming flick, “Train to Busan,” which costars Jung and Gong Yoo, is poised to open nationwide this summer. Filming for the movie ended last year.

Her contract with former agency, Management Donghaeng, was reported in January to have expired.

Having debuted in 2002, Jung’s latest work was “The Himalayas,” which was released on Dec. 16, 2015, in which she played Jung Woo’s wife.
