Earlier this year NCT unveiled its first Seoul subunit, NCT U composing of six members: Korean’s Taeil, Taeyong, Doyoung and Jaehyun, Ten from Thailand and Mark from Canada.

Saturday was the launch of the first episode of “NCT Life in Seoul,” which featured some NCT U members as well as two of NCT’s newest international members. The episode featured Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Yuta from Japan and Kun and WinWin from China.

The series was all about giving the group’s new members from abroad a welcoming and exciting tour of Seoul with the member of NCT’s local idols, with the first episode starting off with light-hearted games to help break the ice and have the artistes get comfortable with one another.

“Korean is hard, I was actually very nervous today,” said 19-year-old WinWin. “It was my first time filming like this and I only just recently came to Korea ... I had a lot of things to say but I couldn’t speak.”

The NCT members went on to play a number of games at the SM headquarters including a mission-filled treasure hunt meant to have the guys quickly bond and they attempted to piece together clues.

Saturday’s star-filled V app also included live clips from some of the members of EXO, looking to surprise Suho on his birthday. The members asked fans multiple times to promise not to reveal their broadcast on any form of SNS before midnight to try and keep their birthday plans a surprise.

“Right now we are outside Suho’s house, hiding here with a cake,” said Chanyeol. “We’re surprising him because his birthday is in 15 minutes.
The members snuck into Suho’s home with a cake, singing happy birthday, however much to the members’ dismay, Suho did not looked as surprised as they hoped.

“Why didn’t you act surprised, tell me the truth, you knew?” asked one of the members, to which Suho quickly responded, “No! ... if I knew I would be dressed better.”
