Actor Jang Keun-suk fell head over heels for his anonymous friend Higoo on tvN‘s variety show “My Ear’s Candy” on Thursday.

“My Ear‘s Candy” is a show where stars talk on the phone with an anonymous friend nicknamed Candy to share their concerns, worries, and more.

Jang candidly revealed, “I’ve been lonely. I always wanted someone to talk to as opposed to coming home to an empty house and watching TV alone”.

Since the show aired, Jang has also been talking very honestly and openly about his personal life and thoughts on relationships with his secret partner over the phone.

During one of these conversations, Jang confessed to the anonymous Candy that he thinks he‘s in love with her.

It was then revealed that Jang’s partner was actress Yoo In-na, who was recently forced out of her role in a Chinese drama possibly due to political and security tensions between China and Korea.

Upon learning that his partner was Yoo In-na, Jang immediately searched her on the internet in excitement and even proposed flying to Shanghai to see her.

Jang seemed head over heels, and made it fairly obvious that he had developed feelings for her.

He even professed, “I feel very antsy and I keep wanting to go see you.”

Viewers have pointed out that Jang has turned a unique communication show into a match-making love show.
