Park Hae-jin’s charitable contributions earn him ‘donation angel’ nickname

Park Hae-jin has reportedly donated 600 million won (approximately $540,000) over the course of six years to a children‘s welfare organization in China.

According to Park’s agency, Mountain Movement, the actor has been donating since his debut in China in 2011, and has periodically made contributions over the past six years.

Park has also taken a hands-on approach by doing community service and hosting charity events. His efforts have been directed towards helping child cancer foundations and children’s education.

Park’s efforts have not only been to foundations in China, but also in Korea. He has made countless donations estimated at 1.1 billion won (approximately $990,000) to various organizations and charities, such as the Children‘s Rehabilitation Hospital, and Sewol Ferry disaster groups.

His total contributions are estimated at 1.7 billion won (approximately $1.5 million), which has also earned him the title of “donation angel” in the entertainment industry.
