Girl group Apink’s leader Chorong was the first member to take on an extreme outdoor activity in the reality show “Extreme Adventure.”

The second episode released through Naver V App on Wednesday showed Chorong flying to Jejudo to try powered paragliding.

“I will end my extreme activity in success, as I‘m the first member to do so,” Chorong said at the airport.

Chorong’s powered paragliding activity is made all the more extreme due to her fear of heights, which came to light in 2014 on the idol variety show “Showtime.” Luckily, she managed to calm herself down by combing her hair on the plane.

Unfortunately, the weather was not on her side. Fog and heavy rain made for low visibility which postponed her paragliding attempt.

A few days later, Chorong arrived on Jejudo again to try paragliding, but the turbulent winds stood in the way, forcing her to return to Seoul once more.

Instead of taking on the weather again, Chorong turned to zip-lining, or aerial ropeslide, activity located in a valley in Jeongseon County, Gangwon Province.

Before departing, she repeatedly sighed, saying “this is not right.” However, once she took off, she enjoyed the minute-long free fall.

“Extreme Adventure” is a variety show produced by Genie Pictures.
