GOT7 recently kicked off the “GOT7 2018 World Tour Eyes On You” in Seoul on May 4. It will visit 17 cities, including Bangkok, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Taipei, Los Angeles and New York.

In Sunday’s broadcast, a fan asked the singer to wear a headband during the upcoming concert in Japan.

Youngjae responded, “I do want to wear one,” but added that he cannot. “Maybe it’s because I have a bigger head, but I feel as if my head is going to burst when I wear headbands.”

“And also when I sweat, it gets absorbed by the band so the band becomes too wet,” he said. “That’s why I don’t wear it.”

“I think I can wear the thin one, the rubber one,” he added. “Something like I wore during the ‘Home Run’ promotion, I think that’s OK.”

Oh My Girl

Jiho and Yooa of K-pop girl group Oh My Girl communicated with fans in a live broadcast held in the waiting room for the KBS talk show “Hello Counselor” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

The KBS show features people sharing their struggles and receiving sympathetic advice from celebrities. Yooa, often the sympathetic ear in the girl group, shared tips while listening to other’s troubles and offering advice.

“I am a kind of person who is very sensitive to emotions,” Yooa said. “So I look back on my memories to see where my certain emotions come from and try to soothe the person while trying to remember the situation I was in.”

“That’s right. When she gives advice, she always shares her own experiences,” Jiho agreed.

“Then what do I usually do when I don’t have similar experience?” Yooa asked herself.

“When you don’t have similar experience, I think you usually say ‘If I were you, I would do this and that,’” Jiho said.

Dreamcatcher

K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

In the broadcast, Dreamcatcher thanked the fans for supporting the group during the 2018 Dream Concert held at Seoul World Cup Stadium, on Saturday.

The annual K-pop concert, now in its 24th year, featured a stellar lineup of artists including Taemin, Red Velvet, Seventeen, NCT, Lovelyz, GFriend, Mamamoo, Astro, Younha, UNB, UNI.T, MXM, the Boyz, TRCNG, Golden Child, Dreamcatcher, fromis_9 and IZ.

“I was touched yesterday, actually,” Gahyeon said. “You know the seats of our fans were a bit far away (from the stage). But though I was wearing in-ear headphones in my both ears, I could still hear them screaming from afar.”

“I felt bad because it rained and (the fans) would have gotten wet,” Handong said.

The group wrapped up the broadcast asking their fans to rest, not catch a cold and have a good weekend.

The group -- Jiyu, Sua, Siyeon, Yoohyun, Dami, Handong and Gahyun -- recently released its second EP, “Escape the Era.”
