BamBam of GOT7 proved his explosive popularity in Thailand on the upcoming episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything.”

On Friday, the variety program revealed that the episode would feature three international K-pop stars who left home ground to become idols, including BamBam, Lucas of NCT and Yuqi of (G)I-DLE.

Sharing stories from his home country, Thailand, the GOT7 member introduced himself as the “treasure of Thailand,” according to the channel.

Asked if he is really called the “prince of Thailand,” BamBam said, “The moment you land at the airport in Bangkok, you can see commercials of me all the way to subway stations.”

He was also challenged by cast members to compare his popularity with Nichkhun of 2PM, who also hails from Thailand.

Under the theme of “we came from overseas,” the episode featuring BamBam will air Saturday at 9 p.m.

GOT7 recently confirmed that it would release an EP in September, about six months after its latest EP “Eyes on You.”

It is currently on its world tour performing in 17 cities across the globe.
