Momoland’s JooE and Yeonwoo released a clip featuring their bowling practice for the MBC program “Idol Star Athletics Championships,” on Friday afternoon via the Momogram channel on V Live.

In the video, the bandmates’ hands appeared swollen as they had been practicing hard for the show. JooE and Yeonwoo said their bowling abilities had improved, with their scores rising from 75 to 150 and zero to 45 respectively.

Despite their hard work, they did not pass the first round of the competition on the show.

“We did our best, but we lost because Celeb Five unnies were so good,” said JooE.

She added, “We enjoyed the game. But Merries would be happier if we did better. Sorry that Merries could only watch the first round of bowling. We will do better if we get to go bowling next time.”

“Idol Star Athletics Championships” featured five events: athletics, bowling, archery, rhythmic gymnastics and penalty shooter. It aired Tuesday and Wednesday during the Lunar New Year holiday.
