“I was curious what you are up to on weekends and also wanted to teach you some points of the dance as I promised,” said the performer.

“But first I want to thank everyone, as the music video (of ‘What Are You Up To’) has hit 5 million views, and the number of subscribers for my YouTube channel has topped 500,000,” he said, clapping and taking a deep bow.

The singer released his solo debut EP last week. With the help of his choreographer, he demonstrated dance moves from the second chorus part of the new single.

“You can just casually follow us or be serious,” said Kang, beginning the step-by-step tutorial. He encouraged and praised his online students while asking fans who were just watching to give it a try as well: “It’s quite fun!”

The six-piece under-19 subunit of NCT especially thanked those who came to see its performance for a music program the day before, despite the heavy rain.

“Each of the fans suffered 50 mosquito bites,” said Jaemin.

“It seems as if rain follows us whenever we take to the stage in local cities,” said Jeno.

Renjun nudged bandmates to focus on the new EP, asking them to pick their favorites.

Chenle chose “Bye My First” without hesitation, and the others nodded in agreement.

Jeno recommended “Dream Run” sheepishly, adding that he wrote part of the lyrics.

Jisung wanted to say something but was unsure if it was OK to talk about it, so he whispered to Renjun. “Just say it! What are you worried about?” said Renjun in response.

The youngest member told fans how “Stronger” became the matching song for the title track “Boom.”

“We were so happy to meet Stays in London -- for the first time ever!” said Han, asking his bandmates to share their feelings about their first visit to the city.

“I’ve been here only a couple of days but the buildings make it feel as if I am on a set. Just walking and looking around is fun,” said Changbin, adding that he has vowed to stick to English during the stay there.

“I actually was surprised (at how good he has gotten) seeing him at the showcase and at the practice before,” admitted Felix.

“It was so hot!” said the four members of their live performance, the first of their four-show tour in Europe.

“The energy from the Stays here more than filled the venue, really,” said Felix.

“It was amazing. It was our first time performing ‘Side Effects,’ and everyone sang along!” marveled I.N in the second segment.

“And the sounds and screams of fans grew louder and louder,” added Woojin and Seungmin.

Opening the lid of a pot of boiling water, the idol told fans that he was preparing bibimmyeon, or instant spicy cold noodles. He also bought gimbap, or rice roll, and spicy dumplings to complete the meal, he said.

Putting in two packs of the noodles into the pot, Mingyu confessed that he was actually on a diet.

“I usually try to go eat something nice when I take to V Live to share with you but sometimes it is nice to be unceremonious, too, I think. It is raining so I didn’t want to go outside as well,” he said, expertly prepping the noodles.

“This was one of my go-to menu items when I was younger,” said the performer, offering a piece of advice: “You have to add an ice cube.”
