Taemin of boy band SHINee will make his acting debut in the upcoming Japanese drama “Final Life -- Even If You Disappear Tomorrow” (literal translation), its distributor Amazon Japan said Thursday. The 12-episode series tells the story of two men struggling to solve difficult cases in a secret police team. Taemin will play the role of Sung Si-on, who graduates top of his class at a prestigious medical school in the US, but loses his memory after he becomes a subject of a confidential experiment.The drama also stars Shota Matsuda, who will play the role of Ryo Kawakubo, a veteran investigator of the secret police force who pursues the case while trying to find his missing mother. “It is my first time appearing in a Japanese drama, but I tried hard, struggling with Japanese and English lines,” Taemin said. “It was difficult because the role also required a lot of detailed expressions other than words.
