SG Wannabe’s main vocal Kim Jin-ho appeared on JTBC variety program “Hidden Singer” as a guest on Saturday. In the show, he recalled past memories and shared heart-warming stories with his fans, yet, failed to become the final winner of the episode. Kim, who is well-known for his unique voice, recently changed his style of singing, surprising the panel and confusing the viewers in the beginning of the show. In the first round, Kim sang his debut song, “Timeless” with other impersonating contenders behind the curtains, leaving the audience to guess the real singer. Kim arrived almost at the brink of dropping out because a lot of people weren’t able to recognize the real Kim Jin-ho and voted him as the impersonator of the singer. However, Kim won by a narrow margin and entered into the next round, where he eventually lost with the song “Partner for Life.” Forty-five people out of 99 voted for Kim as the impersonator. After the drop out, Kim had an opportunity to talk with other contenders on the stage. All contenders were Kim’s biggest fan, having him as a role model that inspired their lives. Kim, with all the contenders, sang the song “Family Photo,” touching the audiences with the harmony created by them and the story behind the song, which is devoted to Kim’s mother. Kim sincerely thanked his fans, saying that he appreciates the love and trust from them. “I will try my best to sing the song I want with the courage and belief,” said Kim. By Lee Hye-won ()
