The Wednesday-Thursday TV series “The Village: Achiara’s Secret,” starring BTOB singer Yook Sung-jae and actress Moon Geun-young, will air its first episode on Wednesday. Yook’s acting skills were vetted through his starring role on KBS2’s April-June TV drama “Who Are You: School 2015.”In the new thriller drama, he will play an eager cop who jumps into a criminal case.

Actress Moon Geun-young will play the female lead, an English teacher new to the remote town where the drama unravels. She stumbles upon the body of a dead woman, triggering a series of events. As the two get entangled in the case, they realize the beautiful, secluded village of Achiara is not as it first seems.The first episode of “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” will air at 10 p.m. on SBS.
