Star soccer player Son Heung-min and actress Yoo So-young, a former member of K-pop girl group After School, are in a romantic relationship, local news outlets reported Thursday. A local media outlet broke the news with releasing the photographs of Son, 23, and Yoo, 29, meeting near the National Football Center in Paju, Gyeonggi, Province, on Nov. 11.

Following the report, Yoo confirmed their relationship through her agency Stariyagi Entertainment that the two recently started dating. But an agency official said the exact time as to when the two started dating was not clear. Son, striker for the English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, is on the Korean national team. In the World Cup 2018 qualifiers, he assisted two goals in the 4-0 victory against Myanmar last week and scored the third and fifth goals in a 5-0 win against Laos on Tuesday.
