Ryu Jun-yeol gave fans another reason to love the actor by revealing that his role model is SpongeBob Squarepants. In an interview with KBS “Entertainment Weekly” aired on Saturday, Ryu said SpongeBob is “more like a character he adores than a role model.”

“I’m really into SpongeBob to the point where I play his animation every morning,” he said. “He’s very bright, happy and enjoy his life to the fullest. I want to live my short life like that. I get inspired and influenced by SpongeBob’s positive attitude toward life,” Ryu added.Ryu shot to stardom recently with his work in tVN drama “Reply 1988.” Reports said his next project will be director Han Jae-rim’s new film “The King,” which will also star Zo In-sung and Jung Woo-sung.()
