Actor Park Hae-jin is expected to resume his Asia tour in July in Thailand despite his back pain, local media reported.Two weeks ago he took on a Taipei fan meeting on June 9 with the back pain, according to Park’s agency MME Entertainment on Tuesday.Park has been undergoing a series of treatments and the subsequent rehabilitation process immediately following his return to Seoul from Taipei, local media outlet Star News reported Tuesday.The report added he was nearly forced to retire as an actor due to the back injury while on the set of a previous project. Doctors recommended he undergo surgery, but Park opted not to, intent on avoiding a long hiatus. “Park chose to have treatment, instead of having surgery,” a source familiar with the matter was quoted as saying in the Star News report. “Back then, Park considered quitting acting, but now he is much more improved,” The Asia tour was designed to celebrate Park’s 10th anniversary since his debut as an actor.
