K-pop girl group I.O.I put up a teaser photo for its new album on social media Tuesday.

The photo with an achromatic backdrop has a rather ghastly and mysterious vibe. The members wore white shirts, shoes and wigs, making their red lips the only distinct feature. An inscrutable message accompanying the image, “WXAXTX X XAN,” triggered online curiosity.Meanwhile, I.O.I will be releasing its new production on Tuesday.
