Actor Park Jung-min and actress Moon Geun-young recently spoke about the upcoming Korean adaption of the classic play “Romeo & Juliet” in an interview with fashion magazine Elle Korea.“Romeo & Juliet” will mark their return to theater after a years-long hiatus. Park has not acted in plays for two years, since “Escape from G Chord,” while Moon was last in the play “Closer” about six years ago. “If I cry after the finale show, I wish it will be tears of joy,” Moon said. “I envision the finale staging, while suppressing fears.”“If I cross the boundaries of others onstage by being overly enthusiastic, it will spoil the entire play,” Park said. “What I do is, I do what I am supposed to do within my boundaries, not breaching others.”Both of them picked the “balcony scene” as their favorite scene of the play. “Romeo & Juliet” will be staged at the National Theater from Dec. 9 to Jan. 15, 2017. More pictures featuring the two and details of the interview are available in the December issue of Elle Korea. By Son Ji-hyoung ()
