Yang Yo-seob of boy band Highlight and musical actress Shin Go-eun have denied a news report that claimed they are a couple.

A local media outlet reported Tuesday that the two have been dating since they both starred in the musical “The Days” in February. It also reported that they had bonded over their love for dogs. Both Yang and Shin’s agencies denied the rumor Tuesday with the statement, “It is true that they are close co-workers, but they are definitely not dating.”Yang debuted with the group Beast in 2009. Along with four other Beast members, he changed labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment in 2017, renaming themselves Highlight. One of the original Beast members, Jang Hyun-seung, officially left the group in April 2016.Shin debuted as a singer with her first EP “Love Pop” in 2011.
