Yang Hyun-suk, CEO and chief producer of YG Entertainment, has made a donation worth 50 million won ($44,863) to the 2018 Ice Bucket Challenge.The Ice Bucket Challenge is an event dedicated to improving awareness of Lou Gehrig‘s disease and to encourage donations for research. This year‘s local Ice Bucket Challenge was launched last month by Sean, the former member of duo group Jinusean, to help build the first local nursing hospital for patients with Lou Gehrig‘s disease.After he had been asked to take part in the campaign by Hyunjin of group LOONA’s, Yang made the donation to the Seungil Hope Foundation, where Sean is one of the co-founders.
