Soobin and Taehyun of Tomorrow X Together enjoyed dinner while talking to their fans.

“We wanted to do this in a more relaxed setting but this is the only time we can spare for our dinner. If we don’t eat now, we‘ll starve,” Soobin told viewers in a cute voice.

“This is the first proper meal I’m having today,” said Soobin showing a big bowl of steamed spicy seafood and some steamed eggs.

They had just finished talking to their fans via video calls and “it felt as if my back was stuck to my belly because I was famished,” he added.

Taehyun teased Soobin that he heard that the last time the leader had the same dish on his own, he chewed an octopus in a barbaric way.

“No, I didn‘t!” protested Soobin, telling viewers that the younger bandmates are attacking him ruthlessly these days.

Stray Kids' Seungmin discusses music

Seungmin of Stray Kids appeared with an avocado effect around his face during his recent solo live segment.

“Instead of putting this on to say goodbye every time, I’ve decided to start with it today,” he said with a small chuckle.

He was really happy that “My Universe” will be officially released.

“Watching the trailer yesterday brought back memories ... of concerts. How you cheered right in front of us when the song started. The scene is just unforgettable,” he said.

The band floated another teaser on Aug. 31 for “Any,” which is also included on the group‘s upcoming album. As for the part when he appears in a smoke bomb, he tried to look poised but he actually felt quite anxious, he confessed.

He agreed that the new teasers show a fiercer and more mature side of his bandmates and said that he believes their musical range is quite wide and they are trying to broaden it further.

GOT7's Youngjae reaches out after radio show

Youngjae of GOT7 checked in on fans after hosting a radio program.

“Do I look too natural?” he asked viewers, thanking them for their support despite his appearance.

Assuring them that he would sleep soon, he told fans to tell him which song they should listen to together and while waiting, he watched DAY6 unit Even of Day’s debut performance of “Where The Sea Sleeps.”

In reply to a fan‘s question, he said that concerts are the first thing he wants to do when the pandemic winds down.

“It has been too long since I’ve seen you in person,” he said.

The musician admitted that he does not know when to stop the livestream once he starts, saying that he did not want to stop it. He also said that he is quite timid especially when it comes to relationships, citing how his comment about Young K, his “Idol Radio” cohost, has become an issue.

BTS offers solace amid pandemic: Kpop Herald

Kpop Herald reporters reviewed BTS’s historical feat of ranking No. 1 on Billboard‘s main singles chart with “Dynamite.”

This is the first time an Asian musician has topped the chart since 1963. Korean rapper PSY’s “Gangnam Style” had come close at No. 2 in 2012.

The band‘s first all-English single is a crowd-pleaser with heavy disco beats and keeps the message simple -- “Be happy” -- taking a step away from its narratives usually steeped in implications and motivations, said reporter Hong Dam-young.

The straightforwardness and sincerity of the song reached out to the global audience and the soft-toned music video instantly lifts up the mood, she added.

As the septet admitted during their online media conference, the bandmates themselves were disheartened by their canceled concerts. They still wanted to contribute to the fight against the pandemic through music, and thus, came up with the song, explained Kwon Yae-rim.
