Rookie K-pop boy band Enhypen’s three youngest members -- Jungwon, Niki and Sunoo -- tuned in to V Live on Friday to speak with fans.

Following in the footsteps of the four oldest members of the group, who’d chatted with fans Wednesday, the three musicians answered questions and read out comments while dressed in bright-colored oversized hoodies.

They kicked off the chat by talking about their newly coined fandom. The community’s name, “Engene,” combines the band’s name and the word “gene,” implying that the fans are innately connected with the group, evolving and growing along with them.

The three performers asked and answered questions about each other, such as their nicknames and goals for the year, to get to know each other and introduce themselves to the fans.

Enhypen, a seven-piece act formed through the Mnet show “I-Land,” is set to make its official debut in November.

TXT’s Soobin and Hueningkai make name cards for members

Soobin and Hueningkai of Tomorrow X Together sat down to make name cards for all five members of the boy band.

According to the two musicians, each band member had chosen a nickname for their album jacket shoot, and they wanted to create handmade name cards with those nicknames as gifts for their bandmates.

As they cut out glittery pieces of cardboard and glued papers on, they read the comments left by fans and answered their questions.

The two didn’t manage to finish the name cards during the livestream.

ATEEZ introduces Gyeongju to fans

Four members of boy band Ateez turned on the camera to show their fans a famous tourist spot in Gyeongju, a city in North Gyeongsang Province that used to be the capital of the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla.

Seonghwa, Min-gi, San and Hong-joong, dressed up for the Asia Song Festival taking place in the area, spoke from a rooftop in a bustling part of the city called Hwangnidan-gil.

“Beautiful traditional buildings surround the area. The buildings from the 1960s and ’70s have been preserved in their original form,” San said.

“You can see the coexistence of the urban city and the ancient capital,” Min-gi said.

As pointed out by Hong-joong in the video, traditional tiled roofs were visible in the distance.

As Gyeongju is a historical city, famous for its cultural heritage, San said, people could visit Hwangnidan-gil to relax for a meal or snack after sightseeing.

The Boyz’s Jacob and Sunwoo have casual chat with fans

Jacob and Sunwoo of boy band The Boyz went live to connect with fans on Friday night.

As the duo searched for songs to play in the background during the broadcast, Sunwoo said, “Since we’ll be performing ‘The Stealer’ from next week, I’m repeatedly playing the song these days.”

“The Stealer” is a single from the 11-member act’s latest record, the fifth mini-EP from the band.

Sunwoo added that he is not listening to any other music these days.

According to Jacob, when the bandmates travel in their van, they often listen to his playlist, usually consisting of around 40 songs.

Throughout the 2 1/2-hour broadcast, Jacob and Sunwoo enjoyed a chill time, playing guitar and singing together. As the closing song, they sang the group’s 2019 single “Bloom Bloom.”
