Momo of Twice took to Naver’s V Live in pink pajamas to thank her fans for celebrating her birthday together.

She had dinner with her bandmates the previous day after her dance tutorial livestream. They prepared a tiramisu cake, her favorite, and she had a great time, she said.

The singer suggested listening to Twice songs together, starting from the oldest, but was frustrated that she could not read through the comments at the same time. Some fans asked her if she listens to other artists’ songs as well and she confided that she actually does not listen to Twice songs that much.

“What do you do on your birthdays? I really don’t know what to do,” said the idol. It was a coincidence that she had the day off on her birthday, having wrapped up the promotion on the day before. She nodded and agreed that many spend birthdays with friends.

“I don’t have many friends as it takes me quite long to make one. Maybe that’s why it’s a little hard for me,” she said.

The Boyz gobbles up snack at wee hours

The bandmates of The Boyz livestreamed while eating some instant noodles well past midnight.

Eric will leave soon after eating, Hyunjae told viewers in advance. Hyunjae was having bibimmyeon, a kind of spicy noodles, with some dumplings. Younghoon had ramyeon and a rice ball.

“Make no mistake, I’m having jjambbong,” or spicy seafood noodles, Eric said holding up his bowl because he is staying away from ramyeon.

“It has been about a month since I had ramyeon and it’s so good,” Younghoon said relishing a mouthful of his. He showed his rice ball to tell that it has New in the name and Eric teased him that he only bought it so he could talk about it.

“But I’ve loved these since I was a trainee, not because of the name,” he said.

“I’ve been badgering Younghoon for a month to livestream together,” Hyunjae told viewers after he finished eating bringing out a protest from the bandmate.

Shuhwa of (G)I-dle chatted with her fans for over an hour after starting the day unusually early.

She woke up early having gone to bed right after dinner -- Soojin made fried rice. She covered her face, lamenting how the smallest skin problems can show on screen, so much so that she is afraid of cameras, she confided.

“Don’t stop sending hearts,” said the performer with a smile reading through the comments, “then I’ll stop as well.”

Switching to her native Chinese, she admitted that her eyes hurt because she had not taken her lenses out for two days. She called out some fans who said that they understood the gist of what she said, saying that she used to say that she nodded and pretended to understand Korean when she first came to Korea.

Kpop Herald reporter Hong Dam-young brought a camera to show what was on display at “BTS pop-up: Map of the Soul.”

BTS’s new pop-up store was unveiled on Oct. 23 at a three-story building in southern Seoul. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of visitors were limited and each were allowed to look around up to an hour.

The showcase might have gotten smaller in scale but the range of merchandise, inspired by the tracks from the album, was diverse. Clothing and fashion items such as bomber jackets, hoodies and slip-ons emblazoned with song titles were on display as well as smaller goods including magnets bearing the faces and names of each artist, vie for fans’ attention in a carefully curated setting dotted with memorabilia.

On the second floor, the atmosphere was more artistic. A huge bird cage, a symbolic prop from the music video of “On,” welcomed fans who could also stand in front of a large black wings paying homage to “Black Swan.”
