Jisung of NCT gave everyone a pat on the back after the national college entrance exam.

“I said that I’ll take to V Live if I can sometime after the exam, and I could, so here I am,” he said. He applauded everyone for their efforts and wondered out loud how many of the listeners had taken the test.

It must feel strange, he said, whether you did better or worse than you expected, as it signified the end of your life as a student. He would have felt confused, he added, sighing at a fan’s comment about being at a loss for what to do now.

Telling someone that the results are not that important, even though it may be right when you look back after a really long time, can sound uncaring, he said cautiously. Maybe just saying “good work” is enough, added the idol.

Meanwhile, he gave a hint for the “Deja Vu” performance scheduled for the final episode of “NCT World 2.0.” Assuring himself this would be OK, since the show was going on the air in about two hours, he told his fans that he would be featured in the performance.

Ateez’s Hongjoong offers words of empathy

Hongjoong of Ateez also offered soothing words to fans who’d taken the test.

“I can’t say I empathize with you 100 percent since I didn’t fully commit myself to taking the test,” he said, thanking everyone for making it despite the pandemic that had wreaked so much havoc. He and his bandmates always had mixed feelings after pouring themselves into a monthlong practice for their monthly review, so he could only imagine what it felt like to take an exam after years of preparation, said the performer.

He made time between practice sessions and explained that he’d been using his voice a lot and sounded hoarse. The band is resuming its original content and has been busy creating, he said.

The leader of the boy band also reassured fans that Mingi -- taking a break since mid-November due to anxiety issues -- was doing well. He’d had a wisdom tooth removed recently, and Hongjoong had told him to take care.

Stray Kids’ Han shows how he spends free time

Han of Stray Kids uploaded a video he’d made on a “normal day.”

He began from his room at his parents’ house, where his mother was preparing a meal for him. Afterward, he planned to meet up with I.N and go to the Han River. They thought about going to a cafe but ditched the idea since it would probably be too crowded for social distancing.

“I’ve become more used to the camera, better than I expected,” he muttered into the camera proudly.

When he returned to his dorm, however, he confided that he was feeling lazy -- and luckily, so was I.N. They’d agreed to idle a bit before heading out, he said, adding that it showed what good roommates they were.

After belting out some songs in his room, he sneaked out to find I.N sound asleep on the sofa. Seeing how deeply his bandmate was sleeping, Han gave up on the idea of an outing and settled into bed to watch “Howl’s Moving Castle” on Netflix.

(G)I-dle’s Yuqi briefly chats up fans

(G)I-dle’s Yuqi caught up with her fans, although she had to keep it short.

“Come on in, everybody! The ‘princess’ is here to talk to you for the first time in a while!” she shouted, telling everyone she’d missed her fans.

She was feeling a little awkward since it had been so long, she confided, explaining that she’d been busy. But only about two minutes into the live broadcast, she found out that a variety show featuring her would be aired soon.

“I’m really sorry. I promise I’ll be back tomorrow,” said the idol, telling viewers she’d stay for 10 minutes so they could tune in on television.

She thanked her fans for the compliments on how pretty she looked and said everyone in her group had been busy with a group activity that day. Some asked if that meant they were preparing to come out with new music. But instead of answering the question, Yuqi just looked at the camera with a coy expression.
