The bandmates of BTS continued competing against each other in a series of selfie missions in the 119th episode of “Run BTS!”

Suga went first, explaining how he weaved the messages he found into a story and took matching pictures. But RM pointed out that the second picture, combining poses with Jin and J-Hope and those with “hyungs,” or older male associates, may be a reiteration.

“Every point counts because we’re all neck and neck,” he muttered, as Suga struck it out.

“Wow, this game is ruthless,” said J-Hope.

Things got heated as they closely inspected each photo and Jimin and Jungkook appealed that they had been in favor of those presenting.

“Those who are good at (explaining) have advantages,” said Jin, seeing RM advocating his work.

V was the winner, as expected, with 33 points, while RM and Jimin scored 13 points and Jungkook thought he had the least points and said that he had a confession to make. But the producers told him he earned 14 points and the youngest bemoaned why he spoke up, as the rest chuckled and told him to profess.

The bandmates of Enhyphen marked the birthdays of Sunghoon and Niki, whose birthdays were Dec. 8 and 9, respectively.

They cut the two-tier cake together while the rest sang “Happy Birthday.” Sunghoon thanked them for the pretty cake and said, “Although my birthday is already over, I am happy to be able to spend the day as Enhyphen with you all.”

Jake said that he, as emcee, had invited two special guests to sing and Heeseung and Jungwon walked out and returned to sing “Happy Birthday” again.

“It was an honor to sing for the world-famous. My hands were shaking,” joked Jungwon.

Before Sunwoo went to bring the presents, Niki wished for “love” and everyone shouted that he already was receiving enough. The birthday boys were happy to get scarves. Jay read aloud a letter, apologizing that he did not get to write it on paper and that he might have been a little too serious.

Taehyun of Tomorrow X Together went live in his school uniform, satisfying fans who wanted to see him in the outfit.

“I had a test today although I slept through it,” he said, adding that final exams have begun at his school even though he was not stressed out.

“This may be the last time you’re seeing me in the uniform,” said the idol.

As for Yeonjun and Huening Kai’s appearance in a variety show, he told viewers that he was happy to see that the latter, in particular, did well and was grateful that the producers captured them nicely.

“Soobin and I were sure that Yeonjun would be shy, knowing that he can be himself only around us … Huening Kai managed to lead well,” he said.

Meanwhile, he has been working on music whenever he has time. He has written about three to four melodies and even though they may not be included in the band’s album, he can put them out as a mixtape.

Kai’s debut album long overdue: Kpop Herald

K-pop Herald reporters Hong Dam-young and Choi Ji-won looked closely at the debut album of Kai, of EXO and Super M.

The album itself is unusual, starting from how it looks more like a magazine held together by an elastic band than conventional boxlike packaging, they commented.

It consists of six tracks, all slightly different takes on rhythm and blues, and the lead track “Mmmh” is a groovy and catchy number. The musician himself was instantly hooked when he first heard the hook, as he said at the media conference Choi attended.

There have been high expectations for his solo album, for the performance in particular, as he is known as an amazing performer. The choreography for the focus track is said to be quite unique, said Hong, as it incorporates modern dance movements.

Kai confided that he always wanted to come out with his solo album but waited for eight years until he felt ready. It only reflects how much he put into this EP, said Choi adding that the music beats the prejudice one might have against his musical capabilities that have been outshone by his reputation as a superb dancer.
